The studio is located in an historic, scenic area of the southern Berkshires of Massachusetts. The site is roughly equidistant from New York City and Boston, approximately two and one half hours commute by car and easily accessible to all of the major cultural attractions that define the Berkshires. The facility was constructed in the late 1800s and was one of the largest dairy farms in New England. Clayton Farms was used as a retreat for The United Nations and later converted into a woolen factory and dance theatre named The Pastures.
